How involved do you want a planner or coordinator to be? From the get-go, or just on the day?
What role do you want them to play? Sourcing venues and vendors, or just helping you coordinate?
How often would you want to meet with them during the process?
How many weddings has the planner or coordinator organized / supported?
Have they worked with your chosen venue before?
Does your vendor require or provide someone for the day of?
How much do you want to spend on this role?

Indian Wedding Planner Top Tip: As tempting as it may be to designate family or friends to this role on the day, it is highly recommended you outsource this to someone who is not also trying to enjoy the event and celebrate with you!
